I looked at this image because it really does look real. It has been styled very well and made to look professional.

I would say surely the cropping tool has been used, there could also have been a lot of copy and pasting.

I would like my composition image to look as pro as this one does!

Lee - Identity Project

I'm making my background in Photoshop this week for my Nerd identity, and I looked at some more images for final reference.

Most of the effective images I found were quite plain and flat, focusing most of the attention on the Nerd.

I feel if my pose or actions are strong enough in the image then my background can be plain with a little detail to make me stand out like the other Nerd images.

Mark Dickson - Mask Making

I took some photo's of the early stage of making my Hawk Beak.

I had to bend copper wire into the shape I wanted, then make sure it was strong and firm.

After sticking masking tape to it and wrapping it in tin foil I was ready to start on the paper.

I found some video of a Hawk flying around, I thought this may be helpful in giving me ideas on how I can move around and put myself in different positions.

This can also show me how they move and their speed.

Lee Hazeldine - Identity

I found lots of images of Nerds and general fancy dress so I could look at how they pose and stand, what styles they have and how the image has been taken and made to look.

I did this so I would have a god idea on how to pose and how to present myself.

I chose to use braces as most images I uploaded of nerds had them on the person, they also refer to that style of person.

They are stereotypical to be worn by nerds or geeks.

I will wear the cheque shirt also as it looks like it would be worn by a young person or someone who doesn't really care for their dress sense.

The obvious use of the glasses is clear. Tape down the middle to show there broken or have been broken by someone, they bring out the geekyness.

Lee Hazeldine - Identity

Here you can see I got some of my clothes and accessories for my identity outfits.

Ofcorse the Nerd glasses with the classic tape in the middle, A bright shirt for the Nerd and also the braces that I will wear.

I also got an old cardigan and put some rips and tears in for my tramp. I will make it a bit more dirty and give it that grungy grimy look in Photoshop.
